Essence of Islam—Inspiring Discussion Held in Calicut

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Calicut organized a blessed and enlightening open discussion session based on the esteemed book Essence of Islam at Darussalam, Calicut, on Saturday, 15 November 2025. The program was presided over by Ilaqa Qaid, Mr. Roshan Ahmed, who briefly addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of strengthening one’s faith through authentic Islamic teachings and the writings of the Promised Messiah (as).

Calicut, 15 November 2025:
Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Darussalam, under the Tarbiyyat Department, held a discussion program on the book “Essence of Islam” along with a Q&A session on 15 November 2025.

The sitting began with Tilawat of the Holy Qur’an by Aman Ahmed. This was followed by the Khuddam pledge, which was led by Roshan Ahammed Sahib, who is serving as Ilaqa Qaid, MKA Kerala. He also presided over the program.

The keynote address was delivered by Moulavi Sulthan Nazeer Sahib. He spoke for around 15 minutes, during which he introduced the book “Essence of Islam” and emphasized the importance of reading the books of the Promised Messiah (as) for strengthening one’s understanding of faith and doctrines.

After the address, an open discussion and Q&A session were conducted. The Khuddam asked questions on various topics, including the existence of Allah, dreams, and other matters of faith. Detailed answers were provided, supported by examples and anecdotes from the lives of the Sahaba (Companions of the Holy Prophet ﷺ). Throughout the session, faith-inspiring incidents were shared, and the participants engaged actively, making the discussion lively and beneficial.

The program concluded with prayers led by Moulavi Sahib. Following the prayers, dinner was provided to all attendees.
