This year’s powerful theme, “Taqwa, Khilafat, Khidmat” (Righteousness, Khilafat, and Service), was beautifully reflected in every competition, speech, and interaction over the two-day gathering.
Day 1: Sports Day (Saturday, 16th May)
The Ijtema kicked off in the early hours at the sports turf, focusing on physical fitness and camaraderie.
Spiritual Start: The day began with Tahajjud and Fajr prayers, followed by an inspiring Dars.
Track & Field: Khuddam and Atfal showed great energy and sportsmanship in the running races.
Group Sports: High-spirited tournaments of Cricket and Badminton brought out fantastic teamwork.

Day 2: Academic & Closing Sessions (Sunday, 17th May)
The second day shifted focus toward academic excellence and spiritual learning at Masjid Haadi.
Opening & Reports: The session opened traditionally with Tilawat, Ahad (pledge), and Nazm followed by the presentation of the MKA St. Thomas Mount Annual Report. Jb. N. Sadiq Ahmad Sahib (Zilla Qaid Chennai) gave an impactful presidential address before the session paused for refreshments.

Taleem Competitions: The second and third sessions were dedicated to competitive academic events where Khuddam and Atfal displayed their religious knowledge.

The Ijtema concluded with a formal final session presided over by Jb. M.S. Wasim Ahmad Sahib (Sadr Jama’at, St. Thomas Mount). Following the presidential address, the Prize Distribution Ceremony took place, honoring the winners of both sports and academic competitions. The event wrapped up with a Vote of Thanks by the Sadr Ijtema Committee, Jb. Niyamathulla Sahib, and a heartfelt silent Dua (prayer).
