Event Report: “When Knowledge Meets Direction”—TIAPS Students Engage with Experts on Career Pathways

A highly purposeful and inspiring Career Counselling Programme was held at Talimul Islam Ahmadiyya Public School (TIAPS) Asnoor on 7th December 2025. Jointly organised by Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Kulgam Zone A and the State Taleemi Board J&K, the initiative aimed to guide students—particularly those completing Class 10—towards informed academic and professional choices.

A highly purposeful and inspiring Career Counselling Programme was held at Talimul Islam Ahmadiyya Public School (TIAPS) Asnoor on 7th December 2025. Jointly organised by Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Kulgam Zone A and the State Taleemi Board J&K, the initiative aimed to guide students—particularly those completing Class 10—towards informed academic and professional choices.

The panel of experts included Dr. Saleeq Ahmad Dar, Mr. Masroor Nisar Lone, Mr. Khaleeq Ahmad Naik, Dr. Rumaisa, and Adv. Tasaduq Hussain Reshi, who addressed and counselled the students on various career possibilities. The event was further honoured by the presence of the Zonal Ameer, Local Ameer, Zonal Qaid, Local Qaid, and the Principal of TIAPS, whose participation added encouragement and significance to the programme.

Programme Highlights

The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an insightful welcome address by the Principal of TIAPS. He emphasised the importance of proper guidance at the post-matric stage and encouraged students to make well-considered academic decisions.

A highly interactive live Question & Answer session allowed students to seek clarity on topics such as:

  • Choosing appropriate subject streams
  • Government and civil services
  • Medical, engineering and legal professions
  • Competitive examinations

The expert panellists offered clear, practical and motivating guidance, helping students understand their interests and identify suitable career pathways. To ensure personalised support, one-on-one counselling sessions were also arranged for students.

The programme concluded on a positive and appreciative note, receiving excellent response from students, parents and teachers. It played a significant role in:

  • Strengthening student confidence
  • Enhancing awareness of diverse career opportunities
  • Motivating students to set focused academic and career goals

Beginning with Tahajjud prayers and featuring discussions on faith, the existence of God, the truth of Islam, and the significance of Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya, the programme inspired participants to deepen their knowledge and conviction. A special virtual address by the Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Bharat, along with sports activities and a refreshing beach gathering, strengthened brotherhood and made the event both meaningful and memorable.
