The National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main exam schedule 2025 for session 1 (January) on its official website

GATE exam is a national-level competitive exam for admission into higher studies. The candidates who qualify for the exam with a valid GATE scorecard will be eligible to be admitted to MTech courses and apply for jobs in PSUs. IIT Roorkee released the GATE information brochure on its website. The online form fill up process has been closed. The admit card for the same shall be released online on 7th January 2025 as per the revised schedule. 

GATE 2025 Exam

The GATE admit card 2025 has been released online on 7th January 2025, i.e. today at around 11 AM on IIT Roorkee website. The candidates who have applied successfully for the exam can begin to download GATE admit card online from the official website of IIT Roorkee.

IIT Roorkee has postponed the admit ard release date to 7th January. Prior to this, the admit card was supposed to release on 2nd January 2025. It had also extended the last date for the GATE 2025 application form correction from November 10 to November 20, 2024. The GATE 2025 application form correction facility began on October 31, 2024. The last date to make changes/modifications is now extended to November 20, 2024. IIT Roorkee has activated the GATE 2025 mock test links for candidates on its official website. GATE 2025 registrations with regular fees were available until October 3, 2024.

The last date to submit the GATE 2025 application form with late fees was October 11, 2024. The application fee plus the late fee to apply for GATE 2025 is Rs. 1400/- for Female/SC/ST/PwD category candidates and Rs. 2300/- for all other candidates including foreign nationals.

The official GATE information brochure has been released online on the GATE website by IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee will be organising the GATE 2025 exam in online mode on 1, 2, 15 & 16 February 2025. The students are advised to read the information brochure carefully to know details about the exam such as eligibility, syllabus, pattern, etc. No changes in the exam fee has been made this year.  

It is a great opportunity for those candidates who missed the last date to apply for the exam. Candidates who have graduated or are in the final year of their qualifying degree are eligible to fill out the GATE application form. The authorities will conduct the GATE 2025 for 30 papers in online mode. You must take note that papers may be added or reduced from the given list of subjects. GATE 2025 Exam Date Out

IIT Roorkee is the exam conducting authority for GATE 2025 exam. The exam date, apply online date, etc. have been released by IIT Roorkee on its website. The GATE online form last date was extended to October 11, 2024 with late fine. GATE 2025 Admit Card Out

IIT Roorkee has issued the GATE 2025 admit card on its website on 7th January 2025. Candidates who have registered successfully for the exam can download the GATE call letter by logging in with their GATE 2025 exam enrollment number and password.

What is GATE Exam?

GATE is an annual exam that is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) of Kharagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, and Roorkee & by the Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on a rotational basis. By qualifying GATE exam, one is eligible to get admission into the M.Tech/ PhD programs or apply for a job at any Indian PSU. The GATE exam is held for 29 engineering papers.

What is GATE Full Form? 

GATE’s full form is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The GATE exam is held to test the mental aptitude of the B. Tech candidates who wish to pursue higher education or get a job in an Indian PSU.

How to Register Online for GATE 2025 Exam?

The GATE 2025 application form can be filled in online mode. Candidates must ensure that they fill out the GATE online form correctly. Candidates must ensure that they have filled out the application form correctly, uploaded the documents correctly and paid the application fee. The steps for GATE login are as follows:

To successfully fill out the GATE 2025 application form, candidates must first visit the GOAPS portal to register themselves for the examination. 

On successful completion of the registration for the exam, a unique enrollment ID shall be sent to the candidates’ email ID and contact number. 

Login or proceed to complete the application process for the GATE 2025 exam. 

The next step is to upload the documents and pay the application fee. 

Once it is done, ensure that you take the printout of the GATE application form for further reference. 

GATE 2025 Application Fee

The GATE application fee can be paid using online mode. All the applicants have to pay the required amount of application fee for the GATE 2025 exam as per their category. The category-wise GATE application fee is as follows:

GATE 2025 Form Correction

Candidates have been given the provision to correct the GATE 2025 application form after they have paid the application fee. The date for making corrections in the form shall be notified to you by the GATE 2023 organizing institute. To correct an error in the GATE application form, candidates have to pay a certain amount of the application fee. However, only certain details can be corrected. Here is a list of details that can be corrected:

  • Parent/Guardian’s Mobile Number

  • Exam centre and exam city details

GATE 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to know if they are eligible to appear fore the GATE exam or not. GATE eligibility criteria is notified to the students to check if you are eligible to fill out the GATE online form or not. The eligibility for the GATE exam is as follows:

  • Any 3rd year or any higher year of the undergraduate degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2025 exam.
  • Candidates who have obtained/pursuing their qualifying degree from foreign countries should be currently in the 3rd or higher years or completed their Bachelor’s degree (duration: at least 3 years) in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Arts/ Commerce.

What is the Age Limit for GATE Exam?

No age limit has been set to appear for the GATE exam. Candidates of any age can apply for it if they fulfil the qualifications prescribed for the GATE exam.

GATE 2025 Cut Off Marks 

The GATE 2025 cut-off marks will be announced alongside the GATE 2025 results. These cut-off marks is the minimum scores needed for admission to M.Tech, M.E, M.Plan, and other postgraduate programs at premier institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Generally, GATE cut-offs range from 25 to 50 marks out of 100, depending on various factors. The cut-offs are influenced by several factors including the number of candidates, their scores, and the number of available seats. GATE 2025 Answer Key

The GATE 2025 answer key was released on 19th February 2025. Candidates are given the option to object to the answer key. Thereafter, a final answer key will be released after verifying the challenges made by candidates. 

GATE 2025 Result Date

After the declaration of the GATE answer key, the authorities will release the GATE result on its website on 16th March. The GATE result PDF will display your All India rank, score, etc. The GATE scorecard is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

GATE 2025 Topper List 

The GATE 2025 topper list branch-wise will be released after the GATE 2025 result declaration. The GATE toppers will be announced for each GATE paper separately as well as for each category. In the meantime, you can check out the GATE 2023 topper list (previous year) in the following table. 

Candidates will be able to check the subject-wise GATE toppers 2025 list online. The authority will release the GATE 2025 topper list pdf along with the result. Candidates can check the GATE topper list 2025 to know the names of the toppers and the marks obtained by them. Until the GATE 2025 topper list is released candidates can check the previous year’s GATE topper list below.
