Dear members of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Bharat
السلام عليکم ورحمة االله وبرته
I am very delighted to know that you are having the privilege of organising your 50 Annual Ijtema. Moreover, you also want to bring out a souvenir covering the history of Annual Ijtema. May Allah bless this in every respect. Ameen.
Sadar Sahib Majlis Khuddam-ul- Ahmadiyya has requested me to send a message in this regard. My message is that you should keep in mind those objectives for which Khuddam-ul- Ahmadiyya was established and thereby strengthen your
bond with the institution of Khilafat.
Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya is an auxiliary organization which was founded in 1938 in Qadian by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih II (Allah be pleased with him). It was his wish that the Ahmadi youth should be imparted the best religious and moral training so that they may reflect an excellent model of Islamic teachings in their person; and that every generation may become able heirs of the preceding one; and that they perfectly follow their forerunners in terms of sacrificing their lives and wealth. While laying the foundation of this organisation, he said:-
“Today is the time of training and moral upbringing of the youth. Training is a silent process. People think that nothing is being done, but when the nation comes out in the practical field after training, the world begins to see the results. In fact, a living nation which stands up and sits down obeying the commands of a single hand brings about a great change in the world.”
Similarly, the summary of the pieces of advice that he gave at the first Annual Gathering of Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya was:
The progress of a nation depends entirely upon its youth. If the youth of a nation carry forward their age-old traditions in the right manner, then that nation can survive for a long time. But, if the next generation is idle, then the nation can never grow, rather the progress that has already been made would be laid waste. In this regard, Huzur (aba) drew the attention of Khuddam towards complete obedience to the Order of the Jama’at and the points mentioned in the code of procedure (Lahe Amal ) of the Khuddam-ul-Ahamadiyya.
He advised the Khuddam to cultivate a respectful attitude towards Ahmadiyyat in their hearts. Develop the spirit of perseverance and hard work. Avoid making false guesses and estimates. Develop a broader outlook and get a deeper understanding of current affairs. Inculcate the spirit of honesty. Participate in the social welfare events. Truthfulness should be adopted.
Always keep these goals in your mind. Make yourself responsible and accountable for the results of your work . Should you commit any fault, then be prepared to face the punishment . A person who effaces himself for the nation does not actually perish. In the raising of a nation, sacrifices made by an individual have no value. Not only reform yourselves but also reform your surroundings. Spirit of obedience should be developed and always see to it that the Jama’at is treading the path of progress.
You repeatedly hear this quotation of Hadhrat Musleh Maood (Allah be pleased with him) that Nations cannot be reformed without reforming the youth.” That was why he was constantly focusing on the training of the youth. Once in a Friday sermon, he said:
Reformation of a single generation is not sufficient for the success of nations. Long-term programmes can be successful only if successive generations constantly put in their efforts to achieve the desired goals. If we do not devote as much time as required for the fulfillment of a program, then obviously it will remain unfulfilled. If it is so, then it means that all the efforts and sacrifices made by our forerunners have all come to nought —Therefore, I have founded the Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya.”
So, keep all these goals in your mind. Make your programme successful under the guidance and prayers of the Khalifa of the time. Follow all the teachings of Khalifa and be an embodiment of ideal obedience and sincerity and loyalty. Participate in the activities aimed at serving the faith as much as you can. Never be unmindful of your duty towards preaching Islam Ahmadiyyat . In every aspect, keep on elevating your religious, moral and spiritual standards and always advance in goodness, piety, righteousness and spirituality . May Allah make you heirs of the best of both the worlds.
Aameen
Wassalam
Humbly yours
